• How do I schedule a party?
Give us a call at (718) 492-2928 or just send us an email at to check if the party time slot you want is available.  If the time slot is available, please come by to see our venue (Friday 3 pm - 6 pm, Weekends - 12 pm - 6 pm) if you have never seen our venue.  If our venue meets your expectations and you are ready to reserve your party, you will then provide us with a non-refundable deposit ($100 for Non-Private Party (cash only), $200 for Private Superstar Party, and $300 for Private MAGIC Superstar Party (cash or credit card)) to reserve your party.  Your party is not reserved until we receive your deposit.  

Please note, for now, we are not open during the week when school is in session.  Therefore, for a weekday party or event (Private Party only).
  • What is a Non-private Party and what is a Private Party?
With a Non-private Party, Superstar will designate table(s) exclusively for your party's use.  The table(s) will be decorated with party decorations and place settings.  You and your guests will share play space with other parties and/or walk-ins, if any.  Adult seatings are not guaranteed.  Also for non-private parties, children and adult ratio cannot be more than 1 to 2 or there will be a charge of $8 per additional adult.  For example, if you have 8 children at your non-private party, the maximum number of adults allowed will be 16.  Also for a non-private party, the maximum number of children allowed is 12.  

With a Private Party at Superstar, you and your party guests will enjoy private access to our play areas.  Tables wil be decorated with party decorations and place settings.  We can hold up to 100 guests.    

What are your time slots for a party?

11:00 - 1:00 pm
1:15 - 3:15 pm
3:30 - 5:30 pm
5:45 - 7:45 pm
8:00 - 10:00 pm

I want to book the party for my child but I have no idea how many children I might get?  Do you need the exact number at the time of booking?

No, we do not need the exact number of children at the time of booking.  You only need to tell us the approximate number of children you will be inviting to your child's birthday party.  No later than three days before your scheduled party, you will have to inform us the final count of children will be attending (RSVP'ed) your child's party.  (If possible, please email us ( the list of children, including name and age, for check-in during your party.)  That number will be the number of children you will be charged for the party.  Also, no later than three days before your party, please let us know the estimate number of adults and any party add-ons such as food, pinata, or balloons.   
  • 2-hour private party (private use of the entire Family Fun Center) is not enough time for my party, can I extend my party time?  
Sure, available for Private parties only, $125 for half hour or $250 for an extra hour (advance reservation is required).

  • For my party, can you play my own music or home movie? 
For a Private Party, no problem.  We have an excellent stereo sound system for your music and large tvs throughout our facility.    
  • Can my party guests stay and continue to play after my party has ended?  
So sorry, no, our space is very limited. 
  • Is a deposit required?

Yes and the deposit will be applied toward the balance.  The balance is due and payable on the day of your party.  Your party is not reserved until we have your deposit.

  • What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?

We suggest no more than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time.  If you want to come earlier, please call us to check our schedule.

  • Can I bring food or beverages to my party?

Outside foods (except Pizzas and Ice Cream Cakes) from the host only are allowed for RESERVED parties only.  The host must sign our food waiver and provide original receipt(s) from the restaurant(s).  Absolutely no outside food or drinks (including bottled water) are permitted for Walkins.    

What are the choices of soft drinks at your facility? 

We have Apple Juice, Seltzer, Coke, Sprite, Iced Tea, Lemonade and Fruit Punch. 
They are NOT from Soda fountain!

  • Can I bring my own decorations, balloons and/or pinata to Superstar for my party?

No outside balloons, signage, banners or pinatas! No exceptions.
As to your other decorations, please check with us in advance.  We will do our best to accomodate (sorry, no banners or confetti please). 

Sorry, please do not bring your own balloons.  We have many balloons for you to choose and purchase in advance. 

Absolutely NO banners, glitters,  sprays, confetti, bubble gums or cotton candy in our facility.

Can I bring my own Goody Bags for my party?

No problem but please prepare them in advance and distribute them as your guests are leaving. 

Please note that we also do have goody bags for you to create with our toy inventory or you can buy tickets (100 tickets for $1.25) for each child to select their toys. 

Can I get my own face painter or character, i.e., Elmo or Clown?

It shouldn't be a problem if you are having a PRIVATE Party.  However, please provide us with the details for our prior approval.  

  • Can you supply birthday cake for my party?

None of our party packages includes birthday cake except our Private Superstar Party.  Unless you signed up for Private Superstar Party Package, you will have to bring your own birthday cake (requires no refrigeration) for your party.  Sorry, we have no space in our fridge or freezer to store birthday cakes.  If you absolutely must bring a birthday cake that requires refrigeration by us for your reserved party, then there will be a service fee of $15.

Please note that we sell premium ice cream cakes from Carvel, layers of freshly-made premium vanilla and chocolate ice cream, separated by a layer of chocolate crunchies.  Please see our Party Food Menu page.

8" Round $30 serves about 12-16

Sheet-Small $40 serves about 18-22

Sheet-Medium $46 serves about 28-32

  • Should I give tips or gratuities for my party?

Tips or gratuities are optional.  Any amount of tips or gratuities are greatly appreciated.  Please give tips together with the final balance.  Please do not give tips directly to our staff.  

  • What if I need to reschedule or change my party from Private Party to a Regular party?

We require at least 30 day advance notice if you need to reschedule your party.

If you reschedule your party within 30 days, you will have to forfeit your deposit (sorry-no exceptions).  Please note that the new party date cannot be more than two (2) months from the original party date and must be for the same child. Please also note that you can only reschedule once even if you meet the 30 day advance notice requirement.  

  • Do you have on-site parking for your customers?
Sorry, only off-street parking.  Please remember to advise your guests to come earlier to find off-street parking.  If most of your guests are from out of town and parking is a serious concern, we recommend to have your party after 4 pm. 

Please note that we are only a block away from the N train's 8th Avenue Subway Station, extremely convenient for anyone to use the subway to get to our venue.     

  • Do you accept credit or debit card?
For parties only, we accept debit card, Visa and Mastercard with your picture ID.
